What I’m Thinking About:
I’ve always admired high achievers – the people that make the most of their time on Earth. You may call them Olympians, Scientists, or Astronauts. I call them Ascenders.
These people are human, but they earn every letter of the designation. They absorb information, calibrate their bodies, and become the very people they envision. They’re limited only by time and ideas.
We’re essentially the same as these people. We’re as gifted as Leonardo da Vinci, as bold as Isaac Newton, as fearless as Neil Armstrong, and as competitive as Kobe Bryant. We are 99.9% genetically identical to Isaac Newton. So were da Vinci and Bryant. These three were undoubtedly talented, but they also leveraged themselves. They identified their strengths and amplified them. Most importantly, they ignored their doubts.
By living by the same principles, we too can charge through our limits – ascend beyond our potential. It’s a perpetual pursuit. I’m looking forward to sharing what I learn along the way.
Quote:
Success is feeling good about the work you do throughout the long, unheralded journey that may or may not wind up at the launch pad. You can’t view training solely as a stepping stone to something loftier. It’s got to be an end in itself. – Chris Hadfield, An Astronauts Guide to Life on Earth

A Question:
Do you know who you really are and what you’re capable of?
